Murray Royal Hospital - latest

Perth & Kinross Council's Development Control Committee have deferred consideration of the NHS application to develop the hospital part of the Murray Royal Hospital site until the application for housing is also available.
The Community Council has asked that the whole site be considered as one entity and that proper investigations into the impact of the development(s) be carried out. We asked for an environmental impact study, meaningful traffic assessments, and enquiries into education and infrastructure.
If you care about this contact the Council. Our councillor Peter Barrett supported us at the Development Control Committee Meeting and moved the motion for the deferral. Our M.P. Peter Wishart has also offered to help us. We are grateful to them. However your views are also important. If you don't want to contact the Council directly let us know what you think as our role is to represent this community. You'll find details of all the community councillors on our website www.bgk.org.

Next Meeting 19th April

The next meeting of the Community Council will be on Thursday 19th April at 7.30 p.m. in Gannochy Community Hall. This is just off Haddon Road. You are welcome to come -even just to stay for a few minutes to hear about the things that concern you. You will find the latest agenda on our website www.bgk.org or on our notice boards at the post office, the duck pond and St. Mary's Place.
